Interferencia del Carácter Angioplástico en el Flujo a través de una Arteria Coronaria con Estenosis

Abstract

The FEM solution of blood flow in a tract of artery with a high percentage obstruction is presented. The solution is carried out on a flow domain whose geometry was obtained by
angiografic methods for the case when a register catheter is present. The model for the physiologic case before catheter introduction is also solved. The results of both situations are compared to know the deviation in drop pressure induced by catheter.
