Análisis Numérico de Problemas de Flujos Térmicamente Acoplados con Superficies Móviles
Abstract
In the present work, a finite element formulation for non-isothermal incompressible flows is presented including phase-change effects and moving interfaces between inmiscible fluids.
The weak form of the full Navier-Stokes equations is written using a generalized upwinding technique. A temperature-based algorithm is applied in the solution of the phase-change
terms. The interface is defined using an independent mesh which is updated using a lagrange an scheme. The proposed methodology is applied in the numerical analyses of the
isothermal filling of a step shaped mould and the non-isothermal flow in a vertical obstructured channel problem.
