Abstract
This paper proposes a aproximatcd solution for the problem of elastic buckfing of radially loaded annular plates with constant thick and external clamped supports.
The proposal consist in applying a optimized method to obtain the Ritz's functions exponential parameter, to minimize the a factor that allows the determination of the critical load.
The results were compared with theoretical values and they have shown a suitable approximation.
