Modelos Acotados en Banda para el Análisis Modal de Estructuras
Abstract
In the present work, a technique for the modal analysis of structures based on an expansion in frequency that yields band limited models is presented. This approach is
particularly convenient for complex systems and is applied similarly to the matrix analysis of structures. The matrices of each structural member are built from the truncated analytical solution obtained for the free member.
A simple case that allows analytical solution is presented and the results compared with the conventional technique of finite elements.
