Resolución Numérica de las Ecuaciones para Flujo Cuasi-Bidimensional a Superficie Libre

Abstract

An efficient and stable ADI numerical method, for the calculation of nearly two-dimensional flows with a free surface, is presented.
It provides a high accuracy when treating waves with long wave - Unghts relative to the spatial discretization step. Its performance in the numerical simulation of the flow in Parana River, close to the site where Corpus Dam will be built, was satisfactory, and provided interesting
practical results.
