The Argentine Association for Computational Mechanics announces the

ENIEF 2008
XVII Congress on Numerical Methods and their Applications 
San Luis, Argentina, 
November 10-13, 2008.

This congress is being organized jointly by the Department of Mathematics of 
the National University of San Luis, Argentina, and the International Center 
for Computational Methods in Engineering (CIMEC), from INTEC (UNL-CONICET), 
Santa Fe, Argentina.

The first ENIEF Congress took place in 1983. Since then sixteen ENIEF and 
eight MECOM (Argentine Congress on Computacional Mechanics) have been 
organized by AMCA.

Application of numerical methods in engineering problems, including some 
topics as:

Fluid mechanics
Heat and mass transfer
Solid mechanics
Structural analysis
Multiphysics problems
Multiscale modeling
Biomechanics
Algorithms and software development
Computational mathematics

Deadline for presenting a one-page abstract: March 31, 2008
Acceptance of the one-page abstract: April 30, 2008
Deadline for submitting the full length paper : June 15, 2008
Acceptance of the full length paper: July 31, 2008
Deadline for early payment: September 15, 2008
