ICPP'10 Call for Workshop Proposals

The International Conference on Parallel Processing (ICPP) provides a
forum for engineers and scientists in academia, industry and
government to present their latest research findings in any aspects of
parallel and distributed computing. ICPP 2010 is to be held during
September 13-16, 2010 in San Diego, California, USA (see
http://www.cse.ohio-state.edu/~lai/icpp2010/index.html).

Proposals for ICPP 2010 affiliated workshops are invited. Affiliated
workshops will be held during the conference period. Following the
ICPP tradition, ICPP 2010 workshops will provide participants with
opportunities to discuss and explore areas within the scope of ICPP in
a less formal and more focused way. The format of each workshop is to
be determined by the organizers. The preference is for one-day
workshops, but other schedules will also be considered.

Please email your proposal, preferably in PDF or ASCII format, to ICPP
2010 Workshop Co-chairs, Wang-Chien Lee (wlee at cse.psu.edu) and Xin
Yuan (xyuan at cs.fsu.edu), no later than November 1, 2009. The proposals
should be no longer than 3 pages and must include:

 1. The name of the workshop.
 2. A statement of goals for the workshop.
 3. The names and addresses of the organizers.
 4. The names of potential participants such as program committee members.
 5. A description of the plans for call for participation (e.g. call for
    papers).
 6. The expected number of attendees and the planned length of the workshop.

Notification of acceptance will be made by November 20, 2009. For more
information on organizing a workshop and preparing a workshop
proposal, contact Workshop Co-chairs.
