[NotiAMCA] Seminar: Shape and Topological Sensitivity Analysis

Dear  Colleague



Following the WCSMO6, 6th World Congress on Structural and

Multidisciplinary Optimization (30 May- 3 June 2005, Rio de Janeiro,

Brazil) the LNCC - National Laboratory for Scientific Computing   is

organizing the Seminar on

SHAPE AND TOPOLOGICAL SENSITIVITY ANALYSIS,

which will be held in  the LNCC, Rua Lauro Muller 455, Rio de Janeiro, 4

and 6-9 June  2005,



As a remarkable progress has been achieved in Shape and Topological

Sensitivity Analysis, the Seminar  will address recent advances in

theoretical aspects and engineering applications of this field. At the same

time, it will promote a broad  discussion among specialists.



The Seminar will consist of  3 short courses presented by  Professors  T.

Lewinski, M. Masmoudi and S. Amstutz and lectures given by world experts

visiting Brazil to attend the WCSMO6.



The Seminar will be held in a workshop atmosphere. It aims to foster

discussion and to strengthen the iteraction among researchers. All

researchers interested in this field

are encouraged to participate.
