<div>Tenemos el agrado de invitarlo a participar como autor en la Sesión de Fundamentos Matemáticos de Métodos Numéricos en el marco del XXXVII Congreso Argentino de Mecánica Computacional MECOM 2021 (https://amcaonline.org.ar/mecom2021), a realizarse del 3
al 5 de noviembre de 2021 en la ciudad de Resistencia, Chaco, Argentina. Este Congreso es organizado por la Asociación Argentina de Mecánica Computacional (AMCA) y la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad Nacional del Nordeste a través del Laboratorio de
Mecánica Computacional (LAMEC, UNNE-CONICET).</div>

<div>Los trabajos de interés en esta Sesión están relacionados con el desarrollo y/o análisis de técnicas numéricas aplicables a la resolución de problemas de valores de borde, de valor inicial, o mixtos; incluyendo las basadas en los métodos de elementos finitos,
volúmenes finitos, diferencias finitas, elementos de borde, u otros. El énfasis en estos trabajos está puesto en el aspecto matemático y los fundamentos de las técnicas empleadas, sin limitación, por lo tanto, de la posible aplicación que se haga del método
considerado. Más específicamente los siguientes temas comprenden el alcance de esta Sesión: formulación de modelos reducidos, tecnología de elementos (e.g. formulaciones enriquecidas), métodos de resolución de sistemas de ecuaciones lineales y no-lineales,
métodos chimera o esquemas globales/locales relacionados, esquemas de estabilización, y estudios sobre la existencia y unicidad de soluciones a problemas de valores de borde, entre otros.</div>

<div>We are pleased to invite you to participate as an author in the Mathematical Foundations of Numerical Methods Session for the XXXVII Argentine Congress on Computational Mechanics MECOM 2021 (https://amcaonline.org.ar/mecom2021) to be held on November 3rd-5th,
2021 in the city of Resistencia, Chaco, Argentina. The Congress is organized by the Argentine Association for Computational Mechanics (AMCA) and the Computational Mechanics Laboratory from the Engineering Faculty of the National University of the Northeast
(LAMEC, UNNE-CONICET).</div>

<div>The works of interest in this Session are related to the development and/or the analysis of numerical techniques applicable to the resolution of boundary value problems, initial value problems, or mixed ones; including those based on the finite element
method, the finite volume method, the finite difference method, the boundary element method, or others. The emphasis in these works is placed on the mathematical aspect and the foundations of the techniques applied, without limitation, therefore, in the particular
application of the considered method. More specifically, the following topics comprise the scope of this Session: formulation of reduced models, technology of elements (e.g. enriched formulations), resolution methods for linear and non-linear equation systems,
chimera methods or related local/global schemes, stabilization schemes, and studies on the existence and uniqueness of solutions to boundary value problems, among others subjects.</div>
