Mezclado en Rotores de Compresores Axiales Multiflujo
Abstract
This paper present a study of the axial multitlow compressors rotor chambers mixing, which is basically a convective problem. Due to the problem complexity a simplified model is used, which considers the system as a channel (bidimensional)
with slug tlow, periodic inlet conditions and isolated edges. The model simplicity allows an analytical solution for the transference function among the inlet and the outlet. The results obtained are used to validate different numerical schemes. It was found that for simples geometries in convective problems, the finite difference method is more accurate and faster than the finite volume method.
