The fifth international conference on fracture and damage mechanics will
be held in Harbin, China, from 13-15 September 2006.
The deadline for abstracts is 1 December 2005. All papers accepted for
presentation at the conference will be published in the journal of Key
Engineering Materials. Copies of the journal will be available at the
