International Workshop on the Advances in Computational Methods for Fluid-
Structure Interaction

Singapore, 27 - 29 April 2011

Co-Chairmen of Local Organising Committee:

Dr. Tan Jiak Kwang and Dr. Alex K. H. Lee

The International Workshop on the Advances in Computational Methods for Fluid
Structure Interaction is jointly organised by the Institute of High
Performance Computing (IHPC), A*STAR, Singapore and the International Centre
for Numerical Methods for Engineering (CIMNE), Spain.

The main objective of this workshop is to present and discuss state of the
art, mathematical methods, numerical methods and computational techniques for
solving coupling problems of multidisciplinary character in science and
engineering. Emphasis will be given on showing the potential of new
computational methods for solving practical problems of multidisciplinary
problems of industrial interest. The workshop goal is to make a step forward
in the formulation and solution of real multidisciplinary vision accounting
for all the complex couplings involved in the physical description of the
problem.
