Dear colleague,

*ACOMEN 2011, the Fifth International Conference on Advanced 
Computational Methods in Engineering*will be held in Liège, Belgium, on 
14-17 November 2011.

The conference will take place at the Crowne Plaza, 
http://www.crowneplazaliege.be/ in the renovated historical "Publémont", 
one of the most typical Liège architectural spots.

During this Conference, we are organizing an*Invited Session*on*  **Numerical 
Methods for Large Deformation Analysis.*

The Invited Organized Session aims to bring together researchers to 
present and discuss state of the art mathematical and numerical methods, 
computational techniques, as well as problems involving large strains 
with applications in Mechanics or Biomechanics.

Topics of the invited session will include, but will not be restricted to:

  -Mathematical formulations
-Numerical methods
-Solution strategies and numerical implementation issues
-Constitutive modeling
-Forming problems
-Crash and Impact simulations
-Coupled problems
-Multiphysics, Multiscale & Fluid-Structure Interactions
-Large-scale simulations and High Performance Computing
-Meshing, remeshing and ALE techniques
-Contact problems
- Biomechanics

As a well established and widely recognized researcher in these fields, 
we would like to *invite you to participate in this Organized Session 
*with an *invited paper*. We would be very glad if you were able to 
accept this invitation. We realize that involvement in an activity such 
as this one is time consuming and competes with the many other demands 
on your time. However, we believe that this would be a valuable 
contribution to the success of the meeting and your participation would 
be very much appreciated.
